Barefoot Beach Community Irrigation Revitalization – Bonita Springs, FL
Serving as lead landscape designer for Barefoot Botanical Services, llc., David headed up a large-scale irrigation ‘retro-fit’ project for Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs, FL.
Barefoot Beach is a prestigious beachside resort-like community; it stretches over one mile and lies between an inland bay and the Gulf of Mexico shoreline. Working with the local water management districts and local municipalities, he restructured the existing well-water irrigation systems that were inundated by saltwater, to a proper system capable of utililizing reclaimed non-potable water sources.
