Punta Gorda Linear Park

In an effort to restore a riverside community, our founder David Kulsveen served as lead landscape designer for Native Landscapes, LLC, designing a linear park that stretched from  Peace River to Downtown Punta Gorda. 

Along with providing several outdoor physical workout stations, David incorporated the area’s rich history in the local arts as well as its fishing village roots. The goal was to re-establish the community’s vintage character, using heritage as one of many building blocks for the creative process.

A number of permanent sculptures were also proposed by Mr. Kulsveen to actively engage and promote community art through involvement within the park.
